1981 Chev Stepside

Here’s the thing… I’m not sure I want to sell this truck now but have decided to show it in case it’s just what you have been looking for to make your life complete. This little truck was owned by a friend’s father who bought it new in 1981. I have the original manual and log book which recorded all work and service done even including gas fill ups.

This truck has recently undergone a major restoration, including new upholstery, dash, and carpets inside and new fenders, new inner fenders, step plate, front grill, mirrors and full body and paint. All major components were reconditioned or replaced such as brakes and lines, new shocks and wheels and tires. The frame and under carriage have been sandblasted and recoated.

This is a really cool little truck that is great fun to drive. I recently installed a used small block 305 V8 as the original 6 cyl was getting tired.

What needs to be done:

• - Wood deck in box should be replaced
• - A few little thises and thats
• - This is one solid little truck
• - Because I’ve used the truck regularily over the past couple of years it now has some minor scratches etc from being used as a truck. It is still extremely sound and very solid but does need some minor TLC.
